You will find abundant life as you surrender to God and His will

Genesis 3:22 And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: 23 Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.

Man has now eaten from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. He can decide about what is good and evil. He is still living in the garden of Eden, but that is a dangerous place for him now.

Adam and Eve now can decide for themselves what is good or evil. He might eat from the tree of life. If he does, he will live forever with this newfound power.

You say, what was wrong with that? Well, God is the only source of truth. The more man tries to live life his way, the more he will hurt. The reality, truth doesn’t change. It is not relative. Truth isn’t different for every person.

If God allowed Adam and Eve to eat from the tree of life in their sinful condition, that would curse them to live no higher than their human consciousness would let him.

The ability to decide what is good and evil causes world wars, terrorism, many sins, and wickedness. We need God. He has the wisdom that we need. We need His will.

Otherwise, humans condemn themselves to live like humans forever.

You probably think that isn’t that bad, but God prepared much more for His creation than a man could do without Him.

How horrible is it you, I, and everyone else get to decide what is right or wrong? We get to live life our way.

I challenge you to surrender your will, knowledge, and choice of right and wrong and submit to God’s will. He knows. He made us with a purpose.

You will find abundant life as you surrender to God and His will.
