Romans 14:7-9 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's. For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.

When considering what you will do on either side, please remember that it is not about you! Did you notice what the Scriptures say? We do not live to ourselves. It is about more than what makes me happy.

We live to and for the Lord. He is our Lord and Master.

We must be careful because many want to run to liberty and excesses in liberty. We forget that what we do affects others. It is about something other than getting to do what I want. It is about pleasing the Lord.

Some will say Well, what I do doesn't hurt anyone but me. It does not affect anyone but me, but it does.

You are not an island. What you say and do will affect others. You must always bear that in mind.

So yes, we are called to liberty. Yes, we have liberty, but we should never forget that we are part of something bigger than ourselves.

If you are judgmental, you are hurting your brother. You are hurting your brother if you play fast and loose with right and wrong.

Just remember you are not alone. What you do affects many people, and though you are free to do whatever you might not want to, just because you can does not mean that you should!
