Great News on the Cancer, Prayer Letter

Dearest friends,

God is so good to us. Thank you for always praying for us. The latest report shows no growth in my tumor or spot. It has now been over six months. They are relaxing a little, not worried about it being cancer. The doctor said they aren’t sure what it is. Things grow in the human body.

I am getting used to my medicines. I take a pill for my thyroid when I wake in the middle of the night. I take several medications when I get up in the morning and again at two and six pm. All these meds are a result of the cancer taking my adrenal glands. The steroids mess with me quite a bit, but I seem to be getting myself under control more each day.

In my study of the book of Revelation, God showed me that, like John, I need to be in the Spirit and not stress over all the health issues. Robert Canfield recently preached a wonderful message teaching us to decide to be joyful like Paul told the Philippians he was doing in prison.

Pray for a church in Peru looking for a piece of property. God sent in $20,000 through you, but the piece of property they were buying was pulled from the market.

The church you helped in Mexico is thriving in its new building. They send pictures and letters of gratitude. Thomas Alute is winning souls every week in Kenya. Thank you for all you do.

Betty and I will celebrate our Golden Anniversary (50 years of marriage) this August 18 at Iglesia Bautista Libertad (Liberty Baptist Church.) God has graciously blessed us and constantly shown His power in our lives. He has given us four wonderful children that love and serve Him and 20 grandchildren. Two of our grandchildren are married, and another, Benjamin, is marrying a wonderful young lady, Johanna Bush, in January. Our first great-grandchild will also arrive in October, Lord willing.

I want to challenge you to pray for two things. Pray for the Lord Jesus to return soon. He has a reward for those that love His appearing. Also, pray for 85% of the world that is lost and much without the gospel. We have little time to get the gospel to so many.

Thank you all for all you do. God bless you greatly. If you know anyone who wants to be added to our email list, please let me know, and I will add them.

Betty and I are so grateful for your friendship and your prayers.

God bless you,

Austin and Betty
