Pray for India to get the gospel

India on course to overtake China as most populous

On July 11, 2022, CNBC reported India set to overtake China as the world's most populous country in 2023, UN says!

India's population is projected to pass that of China in 2023, according to the United Nations.

"The global human population will reach 8.0 billion in mid-November 2022 from an estimated 2.5 billion people in 1950," according to the U.N.'s report.

The article mentioned above's concern is that we must take care of our planet.

"At the same time, it is a reminder of our shared responsibility to care for our planet and a moment to reflect on where we still fall short of our commitments to one another," Guterres said.

I am writing you today over a very different concern. I am far more concerned about the future of all the souls born in China, India, and the world. The UN may be concerned about our planet, but as believers, we should be worried about an eternal need of souls.

China has been very "closed" to missionaries recently. Covid has become Satan's tool to keep missionaries out of the most populous country in the world. All of God's people need to pray that God will open the doors to China so that missionaries can hurry back in and continue the work there.

China has many believers but not by percentages. They need so many more missionaries. There are Chinese pastors and churches still going strong, but the need is much greater.

What about India now? Yes, there are great missionaries and work going on in India right now. India is more open. However, India is growing faster than the church is keeping up. Every day the percentage of Christians is smaller.

What will you do? Will you pray for God to send missionaries to His harvest? Will you give so those that will go and those that are there can do more to share the gospel?

I think that we all must confront a real doctrinal issue. Do we believe that everyone lives somewhere forever? Do we believe we are under command to get the gospel to them?

Is our doctrinal position about salvation, eternity, heaven, and hell just theoretical and academic?

Does our doctrinal position align with our evangelistic practice? We say we believe that every soul is valuable. We claim to believe that all will die and spend eternity in heaven or hell?

Would you today consider what you are doing in your personal life, your business, your church, etc. to get the gospel to all. Lift your eyes to the fields. They are white to the harvest.
