God remembers you and he will bless you

God will never forget you.

Psalm 115:12 The Lord hath been mindful of us: he will bless us

What a wonderful truth we find in this verse. God, the Lord, has been mindful of us. The word mindful is that he remembers us. It is the idea that God thinks about us, affecting how he feels. It means that he has not forgotten us. He made promises, and he will not forget his promises.

The verse contrasts the false gods of the heathen, the pagans. They made their gods with their hands. Their gods have eyes that do not see and ears that do not hear. They even have hands that can’t touch anything. The psalmist contrasts the false gods with the one and only true God.

Our God remembers and feels. Our God protects and blesses. The word blesses is that he prospers us. This verse reminds us of what God told Moses to tell Aaron. Aaron and the priests were to pronounce a blessing on God’s people.

Numbers 6:22 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, 23 Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying, On this wise ye shall bless the children of Israel, saying unto them, 24 The Lord bless thee, and keep thee: 25 The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: 26 The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. 27 And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them.

I do not know what you are going through or what is happening in your life, but I know this. God loves you, and he cares for you. If you are born again, he loves you more than you could ever love your children. He has already paid the price for your salvation if you are not born again. All you need to do is put your trust in him.

You are suffering and hurting. God still loves you. He is ready to comfort you. God has not forgotten you. He remembers you, and he will bless you.
