Dearest friends,

Thank you so much for praying for our recent three-week trip to Peru. God blessed us enormously. I was involved in teaching, speaking, organizing retreats, counseling, and more during my time in Peru.

Robert Canfield and I surveyed the outside of Arequipa, Peru, for “Taking the Light Ministries” to help get workers to the rural areas of Peru. We are also planning on assisting young men to start new churches.

God is using David and Katie Gardner in extraordinary ways. They blessed me to see them bringing new friends to church and seeing lives changed right before our eyes. People who were slaves to sin and destruction are being given new life and abundant life.

Physically, I did very well in Peru this time. My health is improving. Thank you for praying.

I also thank those who give because your giving allowed Alignment Ministries to pay all the expenses for the retreat for the 15 couples. They live on meager wages, and this was the first time many of them had enjoyed a time away in a pleasant hotel since their honeymoon.

I ask you to pray that God will provide the finances for much more ministry. We will send men to preach where there are no churches and no gospel outreach at all. We need $750 a month for one man to start. That will include his salary, his expenses, transportation, etc. Maybe God would touch your heart to help. I also want that same amount to help a young family start a new church in Arequipa.

God has the funds, and I will trust him to move and give so the gospel can go forth.

I am excited to offer you a free book called “Rising Above the Hurt, A Journey from Pain to Praise.” It is a free download, and please share it with all your friends and family.

Thanks for all you do to get the gospel to the world,

Please pray for us,

Austin and Betty
