Urgent Prayer Request

Dear praying friends,

I come to you with an urgent prayer request. Tonight, we begin the annual Pastor’s School in Arequipa, Peru. I started this meeting many years ago. I have missed the last three or four years due to COVID-19 and cancer surgery. God has allowed me to be back here again today and this week.

Please pray that God will use every speaker. Dozens, if not hundreds, of pastors are coming from all over to be with us tonight through Friday night.

Pray that God will encourage and strengthen the pastors and workers. Pray that God will call more people to His work.

Pray that souls will be saved of those who come (new people from the churches) who have not yet believed.

Then, pray for the burdens God is putting on my heart. There is so much to do in Peru. The city of Arequipa is twice as big as when Betty and I first arrived. Thousands of people live outside the city that have no way to hear the gospel. I am begging God to help me help them.

I need the funds to do this ministry. I am begging God to show me what to do. It will cost over $10,000 a year for the pastor’s salary, church and house rent, and expenses. Will you pray with me about this great need? You can give monthly or a one-time gift.

We want to help several pastors and new circuit riders get started in ministry, so there is much to ask God for.

We also discuss and pray over a retirement apartment complex for the pastors who have served so long. The team of guys I worked with are getting much older. This is just in the planning stages, but it keeps you abreast of the plan.

Please pray about the meeting this week. Pray that God will move. Outside of a handful of missionaries and pastors, less is being done than before. I am praying that God will call others to come and more work to be done.

If you will go to https://www.alignmentministries.com/ you can download a free copy of my book, Rising Above the Hurt. The link is at the bottom of the page.

God bless you all. Thank you for praying for us. We certainly love you all.
