Pray for Betty and her scan

Tuesday, May 30, 2023

Dearest friends,

Health Update for Betty

Betty will have outpatient rotator cuff surgery on Thursday, June 1, 2023. For those that do not know, she tripped and fell at church several weeks ago. They reset her shoulder, but it still hurts. Horrible pain is the only description I know of what she went through.

Her arm will be in a sling for six weeks, but they expect a full recovery and use of her arm after therapy and all. Many of you will know how to sympathize with her.

Health Update for Austin

In my latest scan, they found a nodule that is concerning for a focus of residual or recurrent disease. They will rescan me on June 13 and plan how to deal with the nodule. I ask you to pray for that.

Ministry Update.

God has been so good to us. He allowed us to travel to Africa and preach and teach many times. We met some new and very dear friends. Please pray that more and more missionaries will be called to go to Africa and share the gospel.

I am back at home and trying to return to work. I am finishing a book, catching up on my videos, and working on some new plans.

As you know, God touched someone’s heart to give $20,000. The plan is to help the church in Mollendo get its property. The piece they were trying to buy has fallen through, and they are looking for another. I hope to have news for you by next month.

Because of your generosity, we were able to help a pastor in Africa this month, and they rescued an orphan baby and saved its life.

Thank you for all you do to make a difference.

God bless you,

Austin and Betty
