Judge Biblically
How are you deciding what is right or who is right? Do you judge Biblically?

- Never believe one witness
Deuteronomy 19:15
One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth:
- Always require several eye witnesses
Deuteronomy 19:15 at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses,
- Get to the bottom of the issue. The truth has to be established clearly
Deuteronomy 19:15
shall the matter be established.
- Test the witnesses because there might be a false witness
Deuteronomy 19:16
If a false witness rise up against any man to testify against him that which is wrong;
- Be sure both parties stand there to be judged Deuteronomy 19:17
Then both the men, between whom the controversy is, shall stand before the Lord, before the priests and the judges, which shall be in those days;
- Make sure you make diligent inquisition. Do not accept gossip, slander, one sided opinions or you will have failed to complete a diligent investigation
Deuteronomy 19:18
And the judges shall make diligent inquisition: and,
- Know that you are not always being told the truth
Deuteronomy 19:18
behold, if the witness be a false witness, and hath testified falsely against his brother;
- False witness should be given the punishment they sought for the person they were accusing
Deuteronomy 19:19
Then shall ye do unto him, as he had thought to have done unto his brother:
- If you do not hold people accountable to tell the truth then the evil will stay in your midst
Deuteronomy 19:19
so shalt thou put the evil away from among you.
- If you fairly judge you will see that people are not so quick to be false witnesses Deuteronomy 19:20 And those which remain shall hear, and fear, and shall henceforth commit no more any such evil among you.
Time for a Biblical self-check-up. Did you make your decision on the matter biblically or not? Have you taken a stand or position without considering the truth? Did you diligently inquire, attempting to get the whole truth and nothing but the truth? Did you ask both sides or just listen to one witness? Did you allow both parties a fair trial and the ability to present their sides, or did you just accept the one-sided narrative? If you shared your unfair judgment with others, does that make you a false witness? It is up to you to take your own check-up.
